The service is available 24-hours a day 365 days of the year and manned by the Cram-Alert Emergency Response Team.
The Emergency Response Team respond to calls from the public or emergency services after finding a person or an item of personal property together with a Cram-Alert ID tag.
If the person found is ill or injured the Team provides the caller with those recorded medical details that the Cram-Alert member has asked to be relayed in the event of an emergency. They also contact the member’s next-of-kin and family with details of the incident, the caller’s name and phone contact details and anything else that helps the member and family to be reunited.
If an item of personal property has been found, the Emergency Response Team simply record what has been found, identify the owner / member from the ID number on the Cram-Alert ID tag and contact the member using the registered emergency contact list provided by the member.
